AWARD WINNING FILM, SOUND, & SCORE
CREATOR OF JAMES BEARD FOUNDATION AWARD TWICE-NOMINATED 'FROM THE WILD'
AGRICULTURE
Grain, pulses, ranches, dairy, market gardens, apiaries, greenhouses, pigs, poultry, sheep, orchards, urban agriculture - we've even filmed bananas in Colombia, tea in China, Taro in Japan and Maui, biodynamics in Norway, lobster in New Brunswick, maple syrup in Nova Scotia, cheese in Québec, wine in B.C., trees in Ontario, scallops in Newfoundland, indigenous fisheries in NWT and Okanagan, and loads more.
Telling rural stories requires understanding that way of life, its blessings, and its struggles. We create content for everybody from small regenerative producers all the way up to national associations and government.
"Eating is an agricultural act" - Wendell Berry
CULINARY
We’ve been fortunate to point cameras at, fly in helicopters, dive, ride in trains, boats, planes, road trip, hunt, fish, forage, hike, camp, eat and cook with many of the best chefs in the world. We’ve deployed twice for the international collaboration epic that is Cook It Raw [Canada & Norway], and have filmed Food On The Edge culinary symposium in Ireland. We regularly create content for domestic and international culinary tourism organizations.
We’ve been in all kinds of kitchens, filmed all kinds of dinners, and run our own international and national chef collaboration project in partnership with Rge Rd & From The Wild.
WILD FOOD
We’re proud to be leaders in one of the most exciting frontiers in the world of food: wild food. Our original series ‘From The Wild’ has received wide recognition, including a nomination for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Awards.
This exploration has made us adept at navigating the challenges of outdoor location film work. High in the mountains, into the oceans, deep in the forests, across the grasslands, canoeing rivers - we’re regularly adapting our field production workflow to better immerse the viewer in the sights and sounds of the natural world.
